Manage Anxiety and Isolation during COVID-19: April Update

June Health's team of licensed therapists - with 20+ years of experience - will hold an online workshop to share best practices everyone can use to stay emotionally healthy during this difficult time.
This Wednesday, April 1st at 3pm EST. There is no cost and everyone is welcome to attend.

A Boost for Your Emotional Health

It’s likely that we’re all feeling a variety of emotions right now.  Uncertainty, anxiety, loneliness, anger, frustration, financial concerns, loss of control.  We may have developed coping mechanisms and routines for handling the stress of everyday life, but now we face a different kind of stress as the epidemic continues and our routines continue to remain altered.

Although we may want to cling to our typical way of life, we can also develop new coping strategies that may serve us better.  In the uncertainty around COVID-19, our team will share our best practices with you.  The workshop is complimentary and open to everyone.

FAQs

Considering an Online Emotional Health Workshop For the First Time?

What to Expect?

We will focus on providing tactical solutions for coping with the current situation. We welcome everyone from all walks of life to join us in a welcoming, judgement free space.  Participation is completely optional!  You can also sit back and watch/listen.

I’m new to the technology, what do I need?

We will use a video-based platform called Zoom, however you may also just dial into the workshop via phone.   We suggest using video so you can see us, and more importantly see the screen (we will present the info on slides).   If you are on a computer, clicking the link we provide should run the Zoom application.  If you are on your phone, you will be prompted to download the Zoom app.   More info can be found here.

What else can I do?

We really want to emphasize that everyone copes with stressful situations differently.  We believe deeply that no matter what your current feelings are today, you can greatly benefit from talking with a professional.  Whether with June Health or any other therapist, we encourage you to prioritize your emotional health!  Your mind, body and spirit will thank you.

What if I’m really in crisis?

If you feel that you are deeply in pain and need immediate help / are in danger, we encourage you to follow the same procedures — call 911 directly.  Also, the Samaritans Hotline is an additional, wonderful resource for anyone in crisis.
