Ashna Vohra, LCSW

Over the past 25 years, I have been committed to helping support children, adults, and families manage and overcome their personal challenges. I approach my work with an open mind, a compassionate heart, and a belief in the inherent healing force that each person possesses. I help individuals tap into their innate strength and wisdom to improve their emotional health and wellness.

I use a holistic and integrative approach that looks at the person as a whole – mind, body, and spirit. I believe the body plays a pivotal role in healing, and that mindfulness-based therapies are a powerful tool in the therapeutic process. I specialize in the understanding and treatment of trauma and integrate EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Interactive Guided Imagery, AEDP and TF-CBT in my work.

I have worked extensively with communities of color and marginalized populations. I have a deep and personal understanding of the unique challenges they face. Through this understanding, I strive to validate and honor these life experiences and the impact they have on an individual’s well-being.

I am passionate about healing. My goal is to create a safe space that allows for authentic communication and connection. The relationship between therapist and client is a sacred one and I feel honored when a person allows me to accompany them in their healing journey.
