Eric serves people who struggle with anxiety, trauma, depression, career stresses, any type of substance use or addictive behavior, and/or justice involvement.
As a therapist, I pride myself on creating a safe and open space for my clients to share anything they want with me. Throughout my career, I have found this to be the basis for all successful therapy.
My style and the techniques I use are best described as personalized and adaptable. I believe that all individuals are the foremost experts on themselves, and thus I view my role as a supportive guide. I approach each session with the knowledge that each person makes sense of the world from his or her own unique perspective. Throughout the course of therapy, I help my clients to process their past in a healthy way, while developing new skills for the future.
I have significant training and experience with many therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), however I tailor the work to each individual and his or her unique situation. Ultimately, I use all my training, experience and general life wisdom in the ways which work best for each person.
On a personal level, therapy is more than just a career for me – helping people from all walks of life, to live happier, more fulfilling lives brings me great fulfillment and satisfaction.
